Our clients invited us to design and create a traditional shaker kitchen for a newly built extension in their family home.

The classic hand painted Woodbridge shaker style cabinetry, with decorative plinth and cornice, give a timeless and elegant feel. Details including solid oak dovetail drawer boxes and wood-effect carcases echo the architectural beauty of the space. The cooking zone, complete with induction hob and stainless steel ovens, is beautifully framed by the showstopping large mantle, whilst the antique mirror glass splashback connects it to the rest of the design, making it the perfect addition for family life. The central island is the heart of the kitchen, providing a wealth of storage, food preparation space and seating. Clever lighting solutions illuminate its bespoke joinery and cast stunning shadows over the polished  quartz worktop.

Other highlights of the kitchen include a drinks station with pocket doors, bar area and pantry. Bespoke furniture pieces including bench seating, an interlocking table and storage unit, result in a truly unique and versatile design.
