Framlingham Kitchen & Utility Room
Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Stylish and sociable design for modern living

Our clients welcomed us to design and create a warm and inviting shaker kitchen for their newly extended kitchen and dining space along with a complimentary utility room.

The homeowners were inspired by ethnic pattern tiles as the starting point for the colour palette of their new space. The Framlingham shaker style cabinetry is hand painted in Mylands Myrtle Green and paired with brushed bronze hardware and orange accessories which inject warmth into the scheme. Bespoke under stair cabinetry maximises the functionality of an otherwise awkward space and boasts a larder storage unit and wine rackThe large central island is the perfect hub for entertaining with an AEG venting hob and bar style seating. Open shelving is a key component featured throughout the space in the form of a bookcase, wall shelving and dresser unit, providing a wealth of display space. The utility room complete with shoe rack and coat storage is finished with matching cabinetry and fixtures, uniting the two zones.
